I'm going to be looking into accessing Canadian seals and resources.

The obvious advantages of more seals on our side outweighs (in my mind) the slightly low chance of quick success.

But heck, we've learned so much about the seals recently that I might be able to find a cool, tricky way to achieve at least limited success.

Do we have the knowledge we need to oppose Chalithac in the fall? Buttercup's research on the Canadian seals will help. Maybe we could look into how to get to the NYC seal? Or one of the other ones?

I be personally continuing th' research t' oppose Chalithac, we just be at a bit of a bottleneck 'cause we needs all th' Seals t'gether first, so I knows how t' personalize th' ritual: a ritual wit' th' Great Seal will be a bunch diff'rent than th' one without it, possibly. Either way, I'm researchin' in t' it.

We gots leads on how to get t' all o' th' Seals not directly controlled by Chalithac, includin' New York -- Toma will be gettin' us t' that one himself. Better notes of it can be here at th' Current State o' th' Seals post.

Yeah, I read that. So you think the research on the seals and the ritual is under control and we don't need anything specific at this time?

I know tha' th' ritual will be fair complex, an' once we get more information, it might take more researchers, but I don't know how much more can be done on it at this point -- a bunch o' th' research didn't work as well as hoped just 'cause we don't have access t' enough info on th' Seals yet.

I put in a reqest t' get access t' th' Project Chimera information on th' subject t' th' President -- hopefully that'll help enough t' get th' ball rollin'.

There are a few routes I could take this summer:

* Continue my (surprisingly effective!) research on mid-level to advanced Willworking. (Yes, it's been determined that the work I am doing is not identical to the recent findings of another member of Temple. And, we could find surprising resistance to Glamour or Nightmare magics, as well as more advanced healing.)
* Assist Cordelia in her work trying to cure Connor. (This is arguably the most selfish route I could take.)
* "Something else."

Are there any suggestions or requests?

Sorry, I've been distracted by things. I'm helping Doc Sue out by studying the tools that got looted from the repair drones at the last gathering. If they survive the process, they might be useful to other folk in Geek Squad. I'll keep you posted on their condition.

this is personal an may be solveable by talkin' to knowledgeable folk, but I need a way to pin someone down when they try to sidestep in space/time. obviously this is far less important than, you know, survivin' the children and all, but this guy is likely goin' to be tryin to kill me (I'm very popular), and I'd really like to not die and, you know, be able to hit him and stuff.
